If you have actually read the article you would have noticed that I defend the role of gold as money for over 5000 years. Unfortunately the past does not equal the future, technology advances and change does happen. We are no longer using horse and buggy because it's slow primitive and inconvenient. That's why we stop using gold in the 20th century in favor of paper money. You want to live in the past? be my guest but the rest of us need a better form of digital money for the internet age.
