If you have infinite resources and infinite time nothing is anonymous. Nothing is black and white, bitcoin is quite anonymous for small transactions but not so much for large ones.

Everything leaves a trace even cash, but when the cost of following that trace is higher than the rewards for doing so, that makes it effectively anonymous.
