Many valid points here but I disagree with the anonymity bit. Crypto is hard to track but cash is much harder. That's why the volume of illicit transactions using crypto is very small and decreasing every year, while the dollar black market activity is around $1Trillion a year.

This why the CIA, the FBI and the police rather get rid of cash than bitcoin.
